Neymar reportedly has no intention of returning to Paris Saint-Germain for the start of next season as he is desperate to return to former club Barcelona.

Paris Saint-Germain forward Neymar has reportedly threatened to go on strike to force through a transfer back to Barcelona.

The Brazil international swapped clubs two years ago in a record £198m deal that still stands.

Neymar has scored 58 goals in 51 appearances for the French champions, but reports in Spain suggest that he regrets ever leaving Barca and he wants to reunite with his former club this summer.

Marca claims that the 27-year-old has no intention of returning to the Parc des Princes for the start of next season and he is ready to sever all ties with the Parisians.

Barcelona are said to be monitoring the situation and may prioritise a move for Neymar over Antoine Griezmann, who is on his way out of Atletico Madrid.
