Kosovan club Hajvalia to make Luis Suarez loan bid

Kosovan Superleague side Hajvalia reveal their plans to launch a loan bid for Liverpool striker Luis Suarez, who has been banned by FIFA for four months for biting.

Kosovan Superleague side Hajvalia hope to take advantage of Luis Suarez's long-term suspension by signing the Liverpool striker on an unlikely loan deal.

The Uruguayan international has been banned for four months by FIFA following his bite of Italy's Giorgio Chiellini at the Word Cup, his third offence of such a kind.

However, Kosovo are not yet a fully recognised member of FIFA, and Haivalia director Xhavit Pocolli has revealed his club's plans to try to exploit this loophole and give Suarez the opportunity to play for them instead of sit on the sidelines.

"Suarez can't play in the next four months," he told Kosovan Daily Sport Plus.

"As we are not part of FIFA yet, I think he can play in Kosovo, so we have an offer that we will send to Liverpool."

Bookmaker SkyBet give Hajvalia a 100/1 chance of signing Suarez this summer, but Liverpool are believed to be considering interest from Barcelona and Real Madrid in their 31-goal top scorer from last season.
