'Big Brother Australia' halts production after coronavirus scare

Big Brother in Australia shuts down production for two days after a crew member undergoes testing for coronavirus.

Endemol Australia have confirmed that production on the current season of Big Brother has been halted for two days due to coronavirus.

According to TV Blackbox, most of the crew have been "sent home to self-isolate" after one crew member reported that they had come into contact with someone who has tested positive for the deadly disease.

The crew member in question is now being tested for COVID-19 themselves and, should they test positive, the production could be shut down entirely.

The housemates are thought to still be in the house and have been kept up-to-date with the situation.

Versions of Big Brother in Italy and India will end early as a result of the pandemic.
