Sunday's Serie A predictions including Juventus vs. Atalanta BC

Sports Mole provides score predictions and previews for all of today's Serie A fixtures, including Juventus vs. Atalanta BC.

Lecce vs. Hellas Verona (Sunday, 11.30am)

Two sides scrapping for Serie A survival meet at Stadio Via del Mare in Sunday's lunchtime kickoff, as Lecce host Hellas Verona.

Leading their visitors by just two points in the standings, the Giallorossi cannot afford to go five games without a win.

We say: Lecce 1-0 Hellas Verona

Neither side is prolific, but Lecce are far harder to beat at Via del Mare, where they have picked up the bulk of their points this season. Verona can barely buy a goal on the road, and they may suffer an 11th away loss of the season.

AC Milan vs. Empoli (Sunday, 2.00pm)

After their European win in midweek, AC Milan will stay at San Siro on Sunday, when they host Serie A strugglers Empoli.

Milan's 4-2 defeat of Slavia Prague followed a slim league victory over eight-man Lazio, while their Tuscan counterparts suffered a first loss in seven last time out.

We say: AC Milan 2-0 Empoli

Now capable of scoring via a number of different sources, Milan should be able to rotate their squad between European contests and still take maximum points against Empoli. The Azzurri are much improved under Davide Nicola, but they must take a step-up in class on Sunday.

Juventus vs. Atalanta (Sunday, 5.00pm)

After a run of one win from six, Juventus aim to retain their grip on second place in the Serie A standings when they meet Atalanta BC on Sunday evening.

La Dea's recent resurgence was halted by successive defeats, before recording a midweek draw in Europe, so both sides will be keen to get back on track this weekend.

We say: Juventus 2-1 Atalanta BC

No fewer than nine of the last 14 league meetings between Juventus and Atalanta have ended in draws, but La Dea's midweek exertions may tip the balance in Juve's favour on this occasion. Despite being hampered by absences, they may be meeting Gasperini's men at just the right time.

Fiorentina vs. Roma (Sunday, 7.45pm)

Both fresh from four-goal displays in Europe, Fiorentina and Roma return to domestic duty on Sunday evening, at Stadio Artemio Franchi.

While the Viola edged a seven-goal thriller, their capital-city counterparts thumped Brighton & Hove Albion to all but assure a place in the Europa League quarter-finals. Now, they resume the race for a top-six Serie A finish.

We say: Fiorentina 1-1 Roma

A repeat of the result in December's reverse fixture could be on the cards, as Fiorentina are far tougher to beat on home turf and Roma do not always produce their best outside the capital. The Giallorossi's rapid progress may therefore hit a minor bump in the road.
