SM Football Shorts: Golden Boot race, most assists, Golden Gloves

With less than a week to go until the Premier League returns, Sports Mole looks at who could win the Golden Boot, the Golden Gloves and claim most assists.

The 2019-20 Premier League season finally gets underway on Wednesday after a three-month hiatus caused by the coronavirus pandemic.

While the title race has effectively been over for a long time, there are a number of other issues still to be decided during a hectic schedule which will see out the final nine gameweeks of the season.

European places are still up for grabs and the relegation battle is very tight, while on an individual basis the awards for top goalscorer, most assists and most clean sheets are still to be decided.

Listen below as Sports Mole's Editor Barney Corkhill and Football Editor Matt Law discuss which players are best-placed to claim those individual awards.
