Manchester United are informed that they will have to come up with an offer of at least £80m to sign Aston Villa captain Jack Grealish this summer, according to a report.

Manchester United have reportedly been informed that they will have to come up with an offer of at least £80m to sign Aston Villa captain Jack Grealish this summer.

The 24-year-old has been in impressive form for Dean Smith's side during the 2019-20 campaign, scoring nine times and registering eight assists in 31 appearances in all competitions.

United continue to be linked with the Englishman, who has a contract at Villa Park until June 2023.

However, according to the Daily Mail, the 20-time English champions have been told that Villa value Grealish in the region of £80m and are still hopeful of keeping him for the 2020-21 campaign, providing that they avoid relegation from the Premier League.

Smith's side are currently 19th in the Premier League table ahead of their return at home to high-flying Sheffield United on Wednesday night.

United, meanwhile, will resume their top-four challenge away to Tottenham Hotspur on Friday evening.
