Tottenham Hotspur will press ahead with a move to sign Juventus forward Paulo Dybala in January, according to a report.

Tottenham Hotspur are reportedly determined to complete a deal for Juventus forward Paulo Dybala in the January transfer window as they look to replace Christian Eriksen.

Mauricio Pochettino's side were strongly linked with a swoop for Dybala during the summer before ultimately having to admit defeat in their pursuit of the Argentina international.

The South American's image rights and wage demands were believed to be an issue, with the 25-year-old ultimately staying with Juve beyond the transfer deadline.

According to The Express, though, Spurs are confident that they will be able to resolve the problems that prevented them signing Dybala during the summer in order to complete a January deal.

The report adds that the capital outfit want to press forward with a winter move as they prepare for the exit of Eriksen, who sees his contract expire at the end of the 2019-20 campaign.

Dybala was an unused substitute against Parma in Juve's Serie A opener on August 24 but did play the final 14 minutes of their 4-3 win over Napoli last time out.
