Team News: Sadio Mane starts for Liverpool

Sadio Mane is back in the starting XI for Liverpool's trip to Hull City.

Sadio Mane is back in the starting XI for Liverpool's trip to Premier League strugglers Hull City this afternoon.

Having returned from Africa Cup of Nations duty, Mane joins up with Roberto Firmino and Philippe Coutinho in the frontline as the Reds look to end a woeful run of form that has seen them win just one of their nine games in all competitions this calendar year.

Adam Lallana drops back into midfield alongside Jordan Henderson and Emre Can, with Georginio Wijnaldum dropping down to the bench.

There is one change in the back four as Lucas Leiva comes in for Dejan Lovren, who is out with a knee injury, while Nathaniel Clyne continues at right-back despite nursing a rib injury.

For the hosts, manager Marco Silva makes four changes from the side that claimed a surprise point at Manchester United in midweek.

Omar Elabdellaoui is preferred to David Meyler at right-back, while deadline-day signings Kamil Grosicki and Alfred N'Diaye come straight into the lineup, with Josh Tymon dropping to the bench and Lazar Markovic ineligible to face his parent club.

Abel Hernandez is picked to lead the line, with Oumar Niasse dropping down to the bench, where he is joined by the returning Dieumerci Mbokani.

Hull City: Jakupovic; Elabdellaoui, Dawson, Maguire, Robertson; Huddlestone; Evandro, Clucas, Grosicki, N'Diaye; Hernandez
Subs: Marshall, Meyler, Ranocchia, Maloney, Mbokani, Niasse, Tymon
